I slowly stretch my limbs as I wake up. But when I get so far I hear metal clink and my arms won’t go any further is like dumping a bucket of ice water on me. I try to sit up, gain my bearings, but I’m handcuffed to a fucking bed. Shit!
I pull furiously at my arms and legs trying to free myself. But it’s useless. I stop pulling at my restraints and look around the room. It looks like I’m in some nice-ass house. I think back, trying to remember how I got here. The last thing I remember is being at the club with the girls, and then running into one of my regulars.
Goddammit! That asshole must have drugged me.
The sound of the door opening drags me out of trying to remember. The guy who walks through the door is no one I've ever seen before. He’s tall, has black hair, and is wearing a suit. He’s older, probably late fifties.
“Well, well, well. We finally get to meet. I've been waiting a long time for this, Devon,” he says.
“Who the hell are you?” Shit, my voice is shaky despite my attempt to keep it even.
S.L. was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. She is the biggest Ohio State fan EVER! She's married with two beautiful boys and a furbaby. A country girl at heart, and has no problem sitting outside by a fire or grabbing guns and target shooting. She works as a hairstylist and assistant manager at SportClips.
