Sedona Surrender
by Lisa Kessler
Series: Sedona Pack, #4
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: November 23, 2020

Cole Vega never expected to find his mate. He didn’t figure he deserved one anyway. But during a ranch call to assist a mare with a difficult delivery, he meets the newest employee at the farm. She also happens to be the sister of one of his packmates, and she’s off-limits.

Madison Williams moved to Sedona to be closer to her brother. Taking a marketing position at a large cattle ranch in Sedona, she expects she’ll have plenty of time to spend with her brother and his fiance, but nothing is as it seems, and everyone in town has secrets including her new employer, Deidra Harlow. When she bumps into the sexy veterinarian, sparks fly, but there’s something he’s not telling her.

One touch makes keeping his distance from her impossible, but one mate for life means putting Madison’s needs above his own. He can’t tell her he’s a werewolf, or that her brother was bitten and now shifts into a jaguar, and if she discovers she’s working at a ranch owned by a top secret defense contractor her life will be in danger. Surrendering to his feelings is not an option...

I just love the world that Lisa Kessler has created and can’t say enough about her writing and this series! Once again she has created characters with words full of emotion all while slowly revealing plot points to support the overall series arc.

Cole and Madison were such a great couple. Madison is so strong and I was amazed at her ability to accept and adapt to the new world she was thrown into. Knowing the pack’s backstory and learning more about Cole, it was so satisfying to see him find his mate and get his happy ever after. He did need to work on keeping his inner-caveman at bay, but I loved how he ultimately saw that Madison was his partner who was just as determined to protect him as he was to protect her.
“…Until I met you, I didn’t realize that I’ve been longing for a change. Work has consumed my life, but tonight, I figured out I want more. You gave me that.”

Her gaze wandered over my face. “But we barely know each other.”

“Isn’t that how fairy tales start?”
I am a huge fan of Lisa Kessler’s wolf pack and love the diversity of this pack. Fate is definitely playing a role in bringing mates together and I can’t wait to see where the overall story arc is headed. I just love the characters in this pack and also love catching up with some of the characters from Ms. Kessler’s Moon series.

I absolutely love Lisa Kessler’s writing and can’t say enough about her ability to write characters and dialogue that is laced with such emotion. Her ability to weave the danger and mystery together with the love story is masterful and always leaves me happy for the couple and looking forward to what is coming next.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am loving this series, and would definitely recommend this book, or any of Lisa Kessler’s books, to anyone!

I received an advance reader copy from the author which I voluntarily reviewed.
