Drea was so much fun. She’s wound a little tight when it comes to keeping her personal life…well, personal. Of course once you learn a little more about her it’s no surprise why she has boundaries and cherishes every bit of privacy she can get. Of course Cam seems to turn her world upside down, and even though he’s stepped over the line with a PDA and she tells him she’s done with him, Drea just can’t seem to ignore that chemistry between them.
Cam is 6’5” of cocky, alpha male who has a reputation as the Casanova of Harbor City. He has all sorts of issues from his past that have kept him from letting himself get close to anyone, but he can’t seem to get Drea out of his head. When Drea finds herself in trouble Cam doesn't even think twice before hopping on his motorcycle and riding to the rescue…of course nothing is ever easy and Cam and Drea find themselves on the run, and Cam has to pull out all the stops to keep her safe so they can clear her name.Being near him was like standing at the edge of the subway platform as the train whooshed by – exhilarating, dangerous, and addicting on a completely visceral level.
I loved all the action and suspense in the book, and also loved watching the tension skyrocket between Cam and Drea – these two could certainly bring the heat and try as they might, it was hard for both of them to keep their hands to themselves. In typical Avery Flynn fashion, she brings the snarky banter and sexy dialogue in just the right doses to balance out the romance and the suspense.
If you like your romantic suspense filled with alpha heroes and kick-a$$ heroines, with lots of snarky, sexy banter, then this is definitely a series you will want to check out!
