A new Alpha will rise...

Asher Mateo's future was stolen the night the Sedona Pack Alpha marked him to be bitten. Drafted into the werewolf Pack, Asher was forced to become a man he hardly recognized. After heading up a rebellion to overthrow their Alpha, Asher can't wash the sins from his hands and yearns for a fresh start. But he can't bring himself to leave Naomi and her twin boys. Without a strong Alpha to lead the Pack, all their lives are at risk from a new threat who will stop at nothing to expose shifters to the world as blood thirsty killers.

Naomi Rossi used to be a graphic designer with a black belt in karate and deadly aim with ninja stars, but under a full moon a wolf bite left her changed forever. Now she's a single mom to her twin boys, and doing her best to help her friend Asher see himself the way she does, as a leader. But a passing touch, threatens all of her plans as her wolf recognizes this man is destined to be much more than a friend...

The Wolf Pack is back and I just loved the story that has delivered! Sedona Sin was the perfect start to this new series, with action, suspense, a bit of heat, and all the heart and feels that Lisa Kessler always delivers.

Asher and Naomi are both just trying to survive in a pack that has no Alpha. Asher and Naomi have become close since the pack rebellion, and Asher knows that the pack needs a leader – especially now that there are young pups to protect - but becoming Alpha isn’t something that just happens.
Naomi’s twins were the future. If this Pack was going to live to see it, we needed an Alpha. Staring down at this perfect face, the choice seemed clear: I’d do whatever it took to be sure they were safe. Even if it meant becoming the new Alpha of the Sedona Pack.
I loved Naomi’s belief in Asher. She knows that he has what it takes to lead the Pack, even if not everyone in the Pack agrees. Being a bitten wolf and not the born son of an Alpha makes Asher doubt his ability to become Alpha, and not having the support of the elders and some of the born wolves doesn’t make things any easier. But Naomi’s faith in him never waivers – even when things go sideways.
“They can only judge us if we let them.” She dropped her hands to her sides. “Don’t let them, Asher.”
One of my favorite things about reading paranormal romance is that every world you read has different lore that is created. In Lisa Kessler’s world, a skin-to-skin touch between two fated mates is all it takes to let their wolves know that they are meant. But since both Asher and Naomi have been bitten and not born it’s hard for them to get past their human ideals – ensuring that their hearts are also on board with what their wolves already know. I loved watching their love story unfold and, even though things weren’t easy with the threats to the pack, and it was hard, especially for Naomi, to accept so many things about their new world, seeing Asher and Naomi find the other half of themselves in each other was just perfect. And throw in a set of adorable shifter pups and it was hard to not root for these two from the first page.
“I’ve spent my entire life never really fitting in anywhere. That’s part of why I love being outdoors. The Red Rocks don’t care if you’re an orphan. They don’t give a shit about the color of your skin or how pure your bloodline is.” I laced my fingers with hers. “I feel that same sense of peace and acceptance when I’m with you, and that has nothing to do with my wolf or yours. It has everything to do with who you are.”
One of the things I love most about this new series is the diversity in Pack that is developing. Pack isn’t defined by how you were born or what type of shifter you are, Pack is defined as where your heart and loyalties lie. I am so intrigued to find out how all this diversity will move the series arc forward and can’t wait to read more.

I also loved the cameo from the Reno Pack from the author’s Moon Series. This is a spin-off from that series, so having Adam and Luke support Asher as he brings the Sedona Pack together and becomes Alpha added so much to creating a legitimacy and setting a strong foundation for the Sedona Pack.

I am a huge fan of Lisa Kessler and always love everything she writes, but I have to say that I think this may be one of my favorites to date. There is so much potential for future stories as this new threat is explored and getting to know more about the Sedona Pack in Asher and Naomi’s story has me waiting for not only Vance’s story, which looks to be next, but finding out what Lisa has in store for the rest of the pack since they are all so unique.

I can’t recommend this book and author enough to anyone who loves not only paranormal romances, but to anyone who loves a book filled with a ton of heart wrapped around a wonderfully delivered story with suspense, action, and mystery. Go Wolf Pack!

I received an advance reader copy from the author which I voluntarily reviewed.
