No More Mr. Nice Guy…

The moment AJ Walsh sees the sexy, tattooed pixie walk up to his bar, it's lust at first sight. He's always been labeled the "nice" guy―opening doors, buying flowers, and never, ever having one-night stands. But with this wicked little angel with red lips and unfathomably dark eyes? Oh, yeah. Tonight, "nice" has nothing to do with it...

Brett Conlon is trying to convince her family that she's put away her reckless wild girl side for good. Nothing―and no one―could be better for her reputation than golden boy AJ Walsh. So they make a deal: if he plays The Good Boyfriend for her family, he can be a very, very bad boy with her. Now their one naughty night is about to turn into a whole lot of trouble...

Oh, my…the good boy has gone bad…in all the right ways! Wow – what a great finish to this series! AJ has been the nicest guy throughout this series and he has turned over a new leaf…and can that boy dirty talk with the best of them!

This was a fun read that had a bit of drama, some angst, and a whole lot of dirty in it. And I can't forget the laughter - AJ and Brett had me laughing out loud at times!
“AJ…” She spoke in a cautious tone. “Is that glitter in your hair?”
“Yeah.” He chugged some more beer. “The stripper was throwing it around during his set.”
Brett fell silent. She had no clue which part of that sentence to deconstruct first.
“I’m sorry, but did you say stripper?” She paused. “His set?” Another pause. “What exactly did you do tonight?”
He set down the bottle, and his cheeks hollowed as if he were grinding his molars. “I went to an engagement party for Liam and Steve.”
Brett pressed her lips together. Fought hard not to laugh. “Ah. Okay. And who are Liam and Steve?”
……
“Oh God. I’m going to pee my pants. I can’t believe you accidentally went to a gay engagement party – and liked it.”
…”So yeah, I got a bunch of their numbers. We’re all going to hang out again, I think. And I’m – “ He stopped abruptly.
“Please. Oh God, please finish that sentence.”
There was a resigned flicker in his eyes as she hiccupped loudly.
“I’m now an official member of the Roxbury Lions.
Her lips trembled. “The Roxbury Lions?”
“Yeah. It’s, uh, an all-gay amateur rugby league. Season starts in July.”
AJ was just a study in contradictions. Mr. Nice Guy to everyone, always being the good son, never making waves or stepping out of line, always being the one to broker peace…until he decides that he needs a little release from the guilt that drives him to be Mr. Perfect for everyone. And when he meets Brett, he finally allows himself to take what he wants…and what he wants isn't part of his Mr. Nice Guy routine.

Brett has her own set of problems she’s dealing with. She wants her family to take her more seriously, which means she has to keep walking the straight and narrow to prove she’s settled down from her partying ways and can be relied upon and trusted. And when she connects with AJ she finds the best of both worlds – the perfect guy to take home to the family, but also one who can be quite the naughty boy when it comes to the bedroom.

These two were so perfect for each other and fun to watch together. There was some family drama built in to this story that provided a bit of angst, and I just loved how Brett handled the situation. AJ really had some issues to deal with, and Brett was just what he needed to resolving those issues.

This was a great book and a great ending to this series. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, fun read with some sexy, dirty-talking alpha heroes and strong women who can go toe to toe with them.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review.
